Jacob’s Farm Party
Jacob turned three today and had some friends over to Lindo Lake in Lakeside for running, jumping, and playing (his favorite things). Shane brought his new goats for a private petting zoo, and Jacob loved his cake!

East Coast Trip
Jacee, Jordan and I recently traveled to New York/New Jersey, and Massachusetts for work training. I studied power management and distribution products in Woodbridge, NJ, and attended Sylvania training at their HQ in Danvers, MA.
We had a four day weekend for visiting the sights together (she was able to tour around while I was in class, as well), and wanted to share some photos with you.

Family Camping Trip
Finks Camping 2010
We enjoyed our first real family camping trip this weekend at Lake Morena in East San Diego County. We limited the stay to one night in case our kids had some issues with sleeping away from home, but everyone had a real nice time. We went on a couple nice walks/hikes (one of which was down to the lake itself), braving the 96 degrees out of the shade and copious ants and spiders, and visited a couple other camp sites in East County. The new tent setup worked perfectly, as did throwing a car-top bag on the Lancer using tie-downs, in order to tote everything we needed (and yes, Corky came with us
Next scheduled camping trip is to San Elijo in September, but we’re going to try to make a couple more trips before then (hopefully to the beach for the sake of the heat index!). Who’s coming with us next time?
Yes, it’s a reservoir. Please don’t report us for Jacob putting his feet in! The rest of the family refrained…
Disneyland Visit
We were able to visit “The Happiest Place On Earth” this weekend for a mini-vacation, and had a wonderful time! Jacob and Jordan somehow managed to nap a little bit while experiencing the hyper-stimulation of Mickey and Friends, and everyone enjoyed themselves.
